Ultimate Shoutouts started the same way a lot of great youth sports ideas start…

In the bleachers.
With a proud parent.
And a whole lot of love for the kids out on the floor.

We’re a gymnastics family based in Illinois, and we’ve been going to meets for over 12 years, not just as spectators, but as people who have been deeply involved in helping plan, organize, and support events behind the scenes.

And if you’ve ever been to a meet, you already know this:

They’re emotional. They’re exciting. They bring the community together.
And for the athletes, seeing their name called out in the moment is pure magic.

As much as we loved shoutouts, we also kept seeing the same frustrating reality at event after event:

• Reading shoutouts is a handwriting nightmare

• Kids and parents get stuck handling payments instead of enjoying the meet
